An early morning face off faced the Rascals who travelled away to Solway for their 2nd league game of the season and despite scoring the opener with a goal from Scott Penman at 1.41, the Rascals struggled to keep a hold of the lead as Solway put them under continued pressure.

Rascals served several penalty minutes but still did very well to continue attacking the home side and came close to adding to their goal count on quite a few occasions. The Rascals defense skated tirelessly to try and keep their side in the game, but in the end Solway took advantage by hitting home 8 goals.
